Female fur seals show active choice

This is a Letter to Nature in this week's Nature (oh that was somewhat redundant!) which demonstrates that even in polygynous species female choice plays an important role. I think this has interesting implications for humans, what does everyone else think?

Hey Judy,

I must admit I haven't gotten to read it just yet, and I promise I'll comment again with a more insightful response as soon as I do, but I thought I'd just say this--people up here don't think primates (including humans) exhibit female choice. So, this could be a helpful relevant paper--I only wish it was also done among chimps! :)
